♡ 4 associations I support ♡

“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
Anne Frank
Hello my lovely readers!
On today’s post I want to share with you the 4 associations I support since a while ago and that I am very happy to help!
  1. Love & Bananas.
If you read my last post you already know what is this about, but if not I will resume it: Love & Bananas is a movie documentary about elephants, more specifically Noi Na’s life, Lek Chailert’s labour and most important: an open window to the reality they live. I believe that every contribution is a big help. So I ordered a pink ‘Elephant Vibes’ and I cannot wait to wear it!!!
  1. Reserva Wild Forest
An animal sanctuary located in Barcelona, Spain and their labour is to rescue and take care of animals that have lived always in captivity, wild animals that have had an accident or another animals they find in danger. I do collaborate sponsoring Thor, a beautiful buck that lived all his life in captivity until he found his freedom at the Sanctuary. Being sponsor you decide how much you donate monthly, I do help with 10€ (£8.90), if you think about it is pretty the same as 3 or 4 coffees, and for them is a big difference in their lives!
  1. Guide Dogs
Every hour in the UK someone goes blind and 180,000 people with sight loss rarely leave home alone. Aren’t those numbers scary? And as simple as a dog guiding them makes a giant change to their lives. There are different ways to collaborate with Guide Dogs, but the one I chose, is to sponsor (£10 monthly) Spirit, a lovely puppy that is being trained to help someone in the future.
  1. Purple Buddha Project
In Cambodia, one of the most bombed countries, the association Purple Buddha Project recycle remains of weapons, and they convert them into beautiful jewellery with powerful messages. With every purchase we help to supply and distribute three pound of rice to Cambodian schools. Plus every single item is made by local artisans. I ordered yesterday a pink bracelet with the quote ‘Because she competes with no one, no one can compete with her’ by Lao Tzu, and as it comes from far away takes about 5 weeks, but it is worth it!
Ronald Reagan once said: We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone. And it is completely true.  With little acts of kindness we can help and make a better world all together.
Thank you one more week for reading me, I feel so so happy for the messages I receive and if my posts can make just one person smile, then I am more than satisfied.
Lots of love,
Anaïs Rose ♥︎
