Sing me a song of a lass that is gone, say could that lass be I?
Hello my dear readers!
Today I want to share with you the lovely day I had yesterday. But first of all I want to tell you that I am writing this post listening to the song ‘The Skye boat song‘, just in case you want to read my words just the way I got them in my mind.
On Saturday one of the girls that work with me told me that a vegan festival would be based in a city 1 hour apart from the town where I live, and I thought it would be the perfect plan for a Sunday.
The festival was situated in Chester, a few steps away from the train station. The entrance was £3 and they put a lovely pink V on the hand of every person that wanted to join the event.
First thing I felt was the smell of a great variety of spices and a colourful place with lots of stands with delicious food. I spent some time talking with the staff behind the stands to know more about their business and how their products were made. And I couldn’t help but bought some green tea & a Jamaican curry pie (it was very nice!).
The second part of the event, the no-food side, was in a hotel, right in front of the train station, was full of stands with clothes, cosmetics, make up, jewellery, incenses and information about different subjects involving animals and environment. Everything was amazingly organised and with a pleasant atmosphere.
After two hours walking, talking and enjoying the mood of the festival, I decided to have a walk through the streets of Chester, a town where I’ve been before but that I love!
And that is all so far, I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed the experience. You can see my every-day photos on instagram @anaisrosefelipe, and I will see you very soon on my next post. Thank you very much!
Lots of love,
Anaïs Rose ♥
